Marianne McShane is a children’s writer and storyteller who lives on the shore of Belfast Lough in Co. Down. Her storytelling has taken her to schools, libraries, and festivals throughout Ireland and beyond. Marianne’s first book, Rónán and the Mermaid, inspired by a legend from her hometown of Bangor, was published by Walker Books in 2020. Her second book, The Fog Catcher’s Daughter, comes out next spring.
