Paddy Donnelly, Patricia Forde and Sarah Webb will be on hand to answer all your questions.
Paddy Donnelly is an Irish illustrator and author based in Belgium. He works with quite a textured and painterly approach and is especially fond of illustrating the sea and animals. His debut author/illustrated picturebook, The Vanishing Lake, was published in 2021. His latest picturebook is Fox and Son Tailers, published by the O’Brien Press.
Patricia Forde is an award-winning children’s writer from Galway. She writes in Irish and in English and has written both picture books and novels as well as many television programmes for children. Her latest offerings include picture books: Fidget The Wonder Dog (Puffin 2020) To The Island /An t-Oileán Thiar (Little Island 2020), Imagine (Little Island 2021) and her Irish language novel Ó Am go hAm (Futa Fata 2021).
Sarah Webb is an award-winning children’s writer and creative writing teacher. She creates children’s book events for various book festivals and works with MoLI (Museum of Literature Ireland), programming their family events. She is also Events Manager at children’s bookshop, Half-Way Up the Stairs. Her latest book is Be Inspired: Young Irish People Changing the World, illustrated by Graham Corcoran.
